Responsibility     

 

Site Identification and Assessment:

 

 

 Conduct thorough research to identify suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects.

Assess potential sites for environmental, regulatory, and logistical considerations.

Collaborate with environmental consultants and engineering teams to evaluate site feasibility.

 

Land Negotiation and Acquisition:

 

 

 Negotiate land acquisition deals with property owners, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

Manage the due diligence process, including title reviews, environmental assessments, and permitting requirements.

Work closely with legal teams to facilitate land transactions and resolve any legal issues.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

 

 

 Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, local communities, and regulatory authorities.

Communicate project objectives and benefits to stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring community support.

Collaborate with government agencies to navigate regulatory processes and secure necessary approvals.

 

Project Coordination:

 

 

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project development, engineering, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution.

Provide regular updates on land acquisition progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience in land acquisition for renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar or wind energy.

Strong understanding of real estate laws, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.

Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Effective project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Familiarity with GIS and other land mapping tools is desirable.
