Pattern suspends Yolo County wind farm for environmental reasons

Pattern Energy has suspended the development of its Yolo County wind project, located in the US state of California, due to the environmental reasons.


The 100MW Yolo County project, located near Sacramento, was in mid-stage development and had not yet entered construction.

Pattern CEO Mike Garland said the company is committed to environmentally-responsible wind development.

The company is currently has 520MW of wind power projects in operation.

Pattern is an energy company that develops, constructs, owns and operates renewable energy and transmission assets in the US, Canada and Latin America.
