Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa has entered into an agreement to supply an additional 50 MW of capacity of its G97-2.0 MW wind turbine to Chinese company Longyuan.

Longyuan plans to install the turbines at its wind farm which it plans to build in Ningxia, China.

The turbines are expected to be installed in June 2012.

Previously, Gamesa also signed a contract with Longyuan for the supply of the first 25 G97-2.0 MW machines to be delivered in China.

Gamesa operates as a turbine manufacturer and wind farm developer in China.

Currently, the company has six manufacturing plants in Tianjin and Jilin provinces in China.
