Reliance Power to commission 3,960MW coal fired plant in India

Reliance Power has unveiled its plans to commission 3,960MW coal-fired power project in Madhya Pradesh, India by January 2013.


The project has six units of 660MW each.

The company said it is developing two coal blocks, Moher and Moher-Amlori Extension attached to the project.

Production of the dry fuel from the blocks is expected to start in 2012.
