Spencer Ogden Launches Aberdeen Superhub Office

Spencer Ogden has launched a new superhub office in the heart of Aberdeen, nearly four years after the first opening in 2010.

The launch comes after a year of four new office openings, David spencer-Percival, CEO of Spencer-Ogden says, “We have been open about our plans for global expansion. But the decision to increase our presence in Aberdeen and create an office superhub is based on more than global ambition; we go where we see a genuine need for our services.”

“Aberdeen was one of Spencer Ogden’s first offices in 2010. Now, nearly four years later, we see a very good reason to double our efforts in the city and raise our headcount there from 20 to 40. The threat of an energy skills shortage in the region is very real and has received extensive media coverage. We want to help prevent that threat emerging by bringing fresh talent into the area.”

The new office, designed by Bonita Bryg, Take That’s former stylist, has undergone a dramatic transformation from Chinese restaurant to funky 3000 square foot office. Its features include astroturf flooring, a private hunting lodge meeting room, round tables and an American diner for staff to relax in.

“We take inspiration for our offices from the local area before mixing in the staples that make a Spencer Ogden office. We pride ourselves on the start-up culture exhibited throughout the company, and this is supported by giving our staff an office they can be proud to work in,” says Spencer-Percival.
