Spencer Ogden named as the International Growth Business of the Year 2014
We are proud to announce that Spencer Ogden has been named as the Inflexion International Growth Business of the Year at the National Business Awards 2014.
The award, which was presented to CEO, David Spencer-Percival at last night’s ceremony, recognises our exceptional international expansion, particularly over the past year. The accolade highlights growth not only in terms of Spencer Ogden’s geographical expansion but also sales, profits and acquisitions.
As the first recruitment consultancy to service the entire end-to-end energy sector, Spencer Ogden has grown rapidly since its inception in 2010. In the past three months, we have expanded further into the U.S. with the opening of four international offices in Denver, San Diego, Orlando and Calgary, bringing our total global office hubs to 15. We have reached a headcount of over 400 employees and are on track to achieve a turnover of £75 million in our 5th year of trading.
David Spencer-Percival, CEO, who was named as the Entrepreneur of the Year at last year's National Business Awards, said,
“We are absolutely thrilled to have our achievements recognised at such a high level. Over the past five years, we have focused on building a business that is not only recognised across the entire energy sector internationally, but that provides the highest quality service possible."
Edward Ogden, Director comments,
“Our international growth was made possible by the success of our UK operations that achieved triple digit growth in the first three years, and by one of the best management teams you could ever work with.
Being recognised for international growth with this award is a really great achievement for us and I can't wait to see where we can take the business in the coming years considering the success we have achieved in such a short space of time."
The long established National Business Awards continue to draw attention to Britain’s leading businesses, business leaders and social enterprises. Introduced by Prime Minister David Cameron, this year’s winners put the spotlight on success and innovation in business across the UK.
