Spencer Ogden Launches San Diego Office in First Phase of US Expansion
Spencer Ogden is excited to announce the launch of our new San Diego office, the first of three office launches in a major expansion of our American operations.
Led by Director Edward Ogden and Director of the Americas, Henry de Lusignan, the expansion will increase the manpower of our US business by 80% by the end of 2014, including four top recruitment executives to lead the new operations.
Spencer Ogden’s North American presence has grown rapidly since our Houston office launch in 2012, and new operations will be opening in Orlando and Denver over the coming months.
The San Diego office will focus on the renewables sector, as well as California’s oil and gas industry, led by highly experienced international recruiter Stella Cronshey.
As the fastest growing energy recruitment company, and with the US energy sector booming, Spencer Ogden is targeting America as its major growth market, adding to our existing 12 international hubs.
Spencer Ogden CEO David Spencer-Percival said,
“We have identified America as a primary focus and we’re delighted to bring new jobs to the recruitment sector as well as deliver the best talent for our clients. This is our first phase of expansion- there will be further office openings in 2015.
“These new businesses are part of our global expansion programme. We particularly recognise there are fantastic opportunities for us in the US, where our clients appreciate both our approach and the results we get for them."
Since its foundation in 2010, Spencer Ogden has grown from a headcount of just 25 to over 400 employees globally, with an annual turnover of $84 million in 2013.
This year Spencer Ogden received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, which recognises businesses that achieve significant international commercial growth.
