Technology company, Veritas, has announced its plans to create 250 new jobs by 2019 following the opening of a multimillion research and development centre in Dublin.

The company specialises in multi-cloud data management and has said that the new centre will contribute towards its expansion in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Of the 250 new jobs, 130 will be filled within the next year, according to Veritas.

The recruitment drive is expected to focus on development roles from new graduates through to senior-level executives, including multi-cloud engineering and supporting cross-functional roles, such as product and programme management.
