BAE Systems signs £5 billion Qatar aircraft deal

BAE Systems has secured a contract worth £5 billion to supply 24 Typhoon aircrafts to Qatar. 

The delivery of aircrafts is excepted to commence towards the end of 2022.

Gavin Williamson, UK Secretary of Defence said: “The contract will secure work on the production line at Warton into the next decade. It is a great pleasure to sign our biggest export deal for the Typhoon in a decade.”
