Siemens Gamesa set to deliver two Spanish wind farms

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) has confirmed it has secured an order from Gas Natural Fenosa Renovables. 

The renewables giant plans to supply 22 turbines that will reportedly have a combined capacity of 64MW.

At present, Siemens has a market share of over 55 percent and is now considered Spain’s number-one OEM. The manufacturer has installed more than 13,000 MW across the nation to date. 

In addition to this, the company services has more than 7,500 MW and approximately one third of total installed capacity across Spain.
