Maruti Suzuki set to invest another $284m in R&D unit

India’s largest passenger car maker, Maruti Suzuki India has announced it will invest $284 million in its research and development centre in northern Haryana. 

The state-of-the-art R&D Centre at Rohtak, Haryana, is poised to become one of the most advanced facilities in India and among the top facilities in Asia. 

Spread across a 600-acre campus, the integrated R&D Centre has world-class vehicle testing and evaluation labs, with 31 unique test tracks that traverse over 31 kilometres replicating real life terrain.
