Quercus set to build €500m solar power farm in Iran

UK green investment firm, Quercus, has announced it will be building one of the world’s largest solar power farms in Iran. 

Quercus has reached an agreement with Iran’s energy minister on plans for a 600 MW plant in central Iran. 

The €500m deal will involve five nuclear reactors, with the project scheduled for completion by 2020.
