After two years of negotiations, Egypt has finalised a deal to build a nuclear power plant with funding from Moscow.

According to Russian media, Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi met with Russian Presiden Vladimir Putin in China, where both gentlemen were attending a summit.

The nuclear plant will be built in Dabaa, roughly 80 miles northwest of Cairo on the Mediterranean coast.
