The Belgian government has entered a new energy pact that will see the nation remove atomic power by 2025.

Belgium’s federal government has signed the agreement that will see the country’s seven nuclear reactors switched up within the next eight years.

At present, the country is falling behind its 2020 renewable energy target of 13 percent, according to recent Eurostat data.
