Maersk Drilling signs three North Sea rig contracts

Maersk Drilling has secured three contracts in the North Sea. 

The Denmark-based drilling rig operator secured three consecutive contracts from TAQA Energy, Petrogas E&P Netherlands and Dana Petroleum Netherlands. 

Maersk Drilling chief commercial and innovation officer Morten Kelstrup said: “As a new customer relationship, it is very rewarding that we can now continue our great collaboration and support Petrogas’ business by delivering safe and efficient drilling operations in the North Sea.

The company has also been awarded an extended contract for the Maersk Resolve by Wintershall Noordzee to drill a new well as part of the current drilling campaign in the Dutch sector.
