Spencer Ogden accelerates growth with the relocation of its London headquarters
Spencer Ogden, a global energy, engineering, and infrastructure recruitment agency, today announced that it has relocated its global HQ to
“We are excited to launch the next phase of growth at Spencer Ogden in London, the business has worked hard to stabilise and lay the foundations for future growth over the last two years and this move to a new HQ signals the start of a period of investment in EMEA as we aim to become a £200 million business globally," said Bradley Lewington, CEO of Spencer Ogden.
The move comes as a result of the company’s outstanding growth over the past few years, which has seen it achieve a global revenue of £100 million in 2017.
“The relocation of our operation to King William Street is the culmination of exciting growth we have achieved in the past few years. We outgrew our previous premises and this move reconfirms our investment in our long-term plans,” said Donna Hewett, People and Infrastructure Director, Spencer Ogden.
In 2010, Spencer Ogden opened its first London headquarters in Charlotte Street with 10 employees, in response to growing demand for recruitment services across the energy sector. Today, the company boasts more than 100 employees locally and over 350 employees across its 12 international offices. Within the next 12-months, Spencer Ogden has plans to hire 50 more staff at its London HQ alone.
Located in the heart of The City, the 13,000 square foot office is located within the recently opened 24 Building. The larger working space maintains the archetypal Spencer Ogden branding whilst increasing workstation provision and ten private office suites.
Incorporating modern architecture with the trademark Spencer Ogden AstroTurf flooring, the creatively inspired space also boasts a diner-style kitchen, London telephone booths, and original British artwork.
To celebrate the opening, on June 15th, Spencer Ogden held an exclusive employee reveal to its staff and invited guests.
“My amazing team have worked tirelessly to create a space that is stylish, synonymous with our brand and above all functional. We have taken on board employee feedback to create an agile space that allows us to further grow and enjoy what we do here,” said Hewett.
