We are seeking a VP Legal Counsel for the Renewable Development arm of a PE Fund. The candidate would be responsible for overseeing and managing all legal affairs and providing strategic legal advice to the company's leadership team. As the chief legal officer, the candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the company's growth and protecting its interests.Responsibilities:Legal Strategy and Counsel: Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with its business objectives and risk tolerance. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the executive team and the board of directors on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and environmental regulations. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate SCADA Execution Manager to lead a team of SCADA Project Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the execution of the SCADA process on a variety of utility-scale and distributed generation (DG) renewable projects, including solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and hybrid power plants. Working closely with various SCADA vendors, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms, equipment manufacturers, utilities, and internal teams, you will ensure compliance with grid integration and operational requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to manage a team and participate in the technical engineering aspects of SCADA design and integration.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a team of SCADA Project Engineers: Oversee and provide technical supervision for the implementation of SCADA on multiple utility-scale renewable projects involving different technologies and architectures (solar, wind, BESS, hybrid, etc.). Project management: Maintain project awareness, mitigate risks, and assist in resolving technical and contractual challenges to ensure timely completion of the SCADA Scope of Work (SOW).
