Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop program, master planning, concept, schematic, and design development documents and drawings.Ensure the overall design quality, implementation, and successful delivery of each project.Lead and manage the project design team and collaborate with consultants.Coordinate site planning, engineering, and interior design to develop and execute architectural design concepts.Establish project design intent and goals for effective implementation.Coordinate and supervise the production team in developing construction documents.Ensure compliance with applicable codes and ADA requirements, as well as maintain standards for construction document production.Provide technical assistance and mentorship to team members, including junior designers.Oversee the design process from schematic through construction administration.Initiate and develop technical-level design concepts and details.Assist the design team and provide guidance throughout all project phases, including initial setup, preliminary design development, construction design drawings and documents, problem-solving, and client and office coordination.Conduct site surveys, accurately creating floor and ceiling plan backgrounds, including necessary elements such as windows, doors, walls, power and data locations, mechanical layouts, furniture, fixtures, equipment, sections, elevations, detailing, and roof plans.
