Position Summary The Construction Supervisor is the team member with the boots on the ground every day, making each hour and dollar count, ensuring that our systems are built safely and efficiently, to the client standard. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Meets with subcontractors daily to plan and coordinate the short term goals and objectives, and develop a path forward to solve any problems.- Develops three week look-ahead schedule and works with Construction Manager and trades to ensure schedule is met.- Collects and analyzes production data in order to build productivity standards for the project and then communicates these standards to the project stakeholders.- Coordinates the arrival of deliveries and equipment to the project site with the logistics team and subcontractors.- Reviews and thoroughly understands material submittals, plans and specifications to ensure that the project is built to standard.- Leads by example and enforces company and regulatory safety policies and procedures; addresses non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors and vendors.- Knows the key operational details of the subcontract and holds the subcontractors accountable to their agreement and the company's standards.- Measures productivity, progress and performance of the subcontractors on a daily basis and completes daily activity and tracking reports. Assistant Project Managers/Construction Managers with 3-5 years of solar experience who will be boots on the ground, interacting with EPC's, for the Project Manager Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the ongoing installation of solar PV generating portfolios currently in New York, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. As an important member of the operations team, you will support projects and clients at all stages of installation as well as ongoing operations and maintenance efforts. In addition to comprehensive project management knowledge, the work will require significant written communication and computing skills, and the ability to effectively work with technical and non-technical audiences. The prospective Assistant Project Manager should have an undergraduate degree from a fully accredited college or university and at least 3-5 years of experience in the solar construction project management field. A strong background in AC, DC Electrical work and code compliance is required. (Website Sr. PM Description)Primary Responsibilities:As the Sr. Solar Project Manager, you will manage the execution for the design and build out of C&I and community solar projects with a focus on the following aspects: Lead team through the execution phase of the project by hosting regular team meetings, ensure design, procurement, inspections, site visits and other aspects of project execution is being conducted on time to ensure proper project close out. Manage the project cycle for Projects and oversee all field teams and installation progress Engage cross-functional teams (e.g., field operations, sourcing, logistics, project finance, engineering, manufacturing, project controls, contract management) to ensure successful project execution Create and manage all aspects of the project schedule as it relates to permitting, material purchase and delivery and the construction process. Manage to multiple deadlines, included but not limited to internal, customer and third-party requirements.
