Seeking a California Professional Engineer with 7-15 years' experience to join a team of environmental site assessment and remediation specialists based in Tustin, California. Candidates must have experience working on projects in California. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Technical Analysis of Project Data and Reporting: Preparing, writing and reviewing?technical assessments and remediation status reports Contaminant fate and transport evaluation Groundwater flow and hydrogeological data evaluation Chemical data interpretation Remediation progress evaluations Supporting environmental risk assessments and developing client-focused?management strategies Project Coordination and Preparation: Working with Project Managers to manage, plan, coordinate, and implement environmental site assessment and remediation activities. Developing Workplans and Budgets Planning and Overseeing Fieldwork: Site assessment work with various drilling and sampling techniques, and installation of monitoring and remediation wells, remediation pilot testing, permitting. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will possess the following: Demonstrated environmental assessment and remediation experience in California A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in earth science (geology or hydrogeology) or civil/environmental engineering; Master's degree is considered a plus Licensure in California as a Professional Geologist or Registered Civil Engineer considered a plus Experience as the primary author on investigation reports and technical documents Experience with various environmental drilling and sampling techniques Experience with various remediation techniques Experience working with supporting staff in the field and office for the development and completion of field and reporting activities.
