Responsibilities will include supporting senior staff for mine permitting, operations and closure design; this position requires a high level of written and oral communication skills. Willingness to travel on temporary assignments as needed..

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

· Plan and execute projects

· Perform analyses and prepare reports/drawings

· Oversee junior staff

· Interface with clients

· Assist market sector lead with marketing and preparation of proposals and cost estimates

· Assist on water resources and infrastructure projects as needed

· Construction Management is anticipated for this position

Requirements:

· B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering

· P.E. required in Colorado, PE in other South-Western States a plus

· 5-8 years of experience in tailings impoundments, heap-leach pads, waste rock piles, and mine reclamation

Analyses capabilities in the following areas:

· Slope stability

· Infiltration/Seepage

· Deformation Analyses

· Geo-civil analyses and design

Salary Range: $80K-$110K
