Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Engineer to join our EPC Department. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the technical evaluation, design, and execution of utility-scale energy storage projects across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to evaluate site constructability, meet with landowners, and participate in community outreach events.
  • Engage in meetings with counterparties and local government bodies such as planning commissions and fire departments.
  • Assist in preparing project sales proposals, reviewing contractual offtake documentation, and supporting origination efforts.
  • Provide responses to due diligence questions from lenders and independent engineers during project financing.
  • Collaborate with third-party engineers and consultants to ensure compliance with our technical specifications.
  • Contribute to the conceptual design of project layouts using AutoCAD, optimizing design parameters to maximize performance.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry, preferably with a focus on new facility development and operation.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, with an estimated range of 10-50% depending on project stage.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic environment with diverse colleagues and interests.
