Spencer Ogden is looking to hire a ESG & Sustainability Manager to support our in-house sustainability strategy and ensure we are managing our ESG risks appropriately.

As the ESG and Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering Spencer Ogden's global sustainability strategy by defining, managing, and tracking initiatives.

What will you be doing?

  • Defining and monitoring of ESG Risks
  • Advise on environmental sustainability best practice initiatives to set goals and targets and drive impact across Spencer Ogden
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of an ESG management system to ensure compliance with our ESG targets and activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to embed sustainable practices across all business activities
  • Management of corporate ESG policies & statements
  • Coordinate local strategies with corporate mission
  • Define a roadmap to engage employees with our ESG initiatives and create localised approaches
  • Proactively manage and collaborate with internal teams to compile data to submit for carbon reporting
  • Accountability for ensuring the social requirements under ESG are coordinated and maintained including but not limited to HSE policies
  • Collaborate with business leaders to set targets for Scope 1, 2 and 3 reduction strategies
  • Review and maintain corporate charity partnerships

What are we looking for?

  • In house or consultancy background
  • Scope 1, 2 & 3 reporting experience
  • Professional Service sector experience
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and ability to conduct audits
  • Membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)
