Spencer Ogden is currently working with a Leading Tier 1 Owner Operator to expand their team.

We are looking for a Lead Mining Engineer for a contract FIFO position.

About the role:

  • Working at Leinster 
  • Roster is a 5-2, 4-3 rotation
  • Will have a permanent room on site
  • This person will be responsible for the schedule. The Mine schedule is already made in a 14-month block, but they need this hire to break it down into daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly targets. 
  • Responsible for monthly, weekly and daily reporting and cost breakdowns.
  • Design and adjust designs of pit, pit walls and TMP. (Design part of this role is a flexible but advantageous)
  • Drill & Blast experience / exposure (non negotiable), ideally 2 years
  • Scheduling is done on Deswick
  • All reporting is done through Spotfire but they are moving towards Power BI
