Asset Development is tasked with identifying, developing and constructing new investment opportunities on behalf of the company. Asset Development activities comprise identifying and developing generation and system service opportunities to enhance our portfolio and to realise our net zero 2040 strategy. The Flexible Technology Development unit within Asset Development is currently developing a number of projects in Ireland and the UK, across various different flexible generation technologies and system support technologies (e.g. synchronous compensation and long-term storage).
The successful candidate will be responsible to a technology area manager and take on leading project development activities including establishing techno-commercial feasibility of projects and investigating technology areas.
