Offshore Cementing Operator and Supervisor Tier 1 O&G client is looking for cementing operators for their offshore projects in WA & Darwin. Roster: 3/3 Fly from anywhere in Australia Rates: Green - $500 to $550p/d Experienced cementers - $600+p/d Supervisor - $900 to $1000 p/d ASAP Start Tickets required: BOSEIT, CA-EBS and OGUK Medical.
The Instrument & Controls Designer will be part of the part of the engineering team working on I&C systems design for EPC projects in Oil & Gas industry. This position is to work in a team environment and produce instrumentation & controls design deliverables. Expert in using 2D AutoCAD and Microstation.Prepare designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures.Work with I&C team and other disciplines to produce I&C design deliverables. Work with clients and vendors for information required to complete design deliverables on schedule. Interface and support construction personnel directly.Experienced working in 3D model environment and utilizing smart-tools like SPI and AVEVA, preparation of construction deliverables like panel/building layouts, cable schedule, installation details, instrument index, instrument location plans, loop diagrams, and wiring/termination drawings.Strong knowledge of field instrumentation installations. Provide leadership and guidance to less experienced staff members.Provide leadership and guidance to less experience I&C design staff. Support I&C project lead in developing schedule, budgets, and managing resources. Requirements: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field of study. Equivalent combination of experience and training may be substituted for the degree requirement.A minimum of 7 years of experience.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) experience is highly desired.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).Able to plan and execute work without extra oversight.Understands project schedule and budgets.Oil & Gas Industry experience is desired.Must be willing and able to obtain, or currently hold a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
As an I&C engineer, work with a team of I&C engineers and designers, and other disciplines, to perform detail engineering, including front-end planning work, develop I&C quantities and cost estimation, conduct conceptual studies, perform technical quality reviews, attend Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and support construction & commissioning activities . Work under a direct supervision of an I&C lead or work independently on smaller projects or standalone activities. Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems (PLC/DCS) is required.Prepare instruments and control system specifications, instrument inquiry/bid packages, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.Conduct review of instrument and control systems vendor drawings and data. Interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, and detailers/designers.Participate in the development of P&ID's and equipment/construction subcontract package specifications.Develop instrument index, I/O list, cause & effect and logic diagrams, and control narratives.Work with the India I&C team and other disciplines to produce I&C engineering and design deliverables.Work with clients and vendors for information required to complete engineering design deliverables on schedule and building long working relationship.Interface and support construction personnel directly from the office and support construction and pre-commissioning activities in the field, as required.Work with SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) and other smart tools to produce engineering and design deliverables.Able to support construction and startup & commission activities in the field, as required Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from accredited program required.Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification recommended.3 years related experience. Completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information.Must be proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Valid driver's license required. Must be willing and able to obtain, or currently hold a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
