We have an immediate opening for a Senior Geologist or Engineer with project management experience. The successful candidate will support nationwide investigation and remediation projects and can be based in one of our West Coast offices (Ventura, Santa Barbara, or Walnut Creek) or work remotely with periodic travel to support project needs.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale CERCLA investigation projects for Federal clients
  • Manage basewide remediation contracts, including sampling, remediation, document preparation, and five-year reviews
  • Design and manage treatability studies and/or technology evaluation (IRA, EE/CA, RD, etc.)
  • Supervise support personnel
  • Maintain client relationships

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation projects
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, hydrogeology, geology or related field
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to nationwide project sites, as needed
  • Experience with technical writing and regulatory reports
  • Experience managing project budgets
  • Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, SDWA and various DoD branch regulations
  • Experience with investigation and remediation of media with PFAS impacts.
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) and Professional Certified Hydrogeologist (CHG) certification
