The selected candidate must have the ability and knowledge to:
- Manage assigned projects to meet client requirements and expectations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop project scopes and proposals; and participate in project interviews
- Manage the allocation of resources to complete assigned projects

- Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform technical tasks, field tasks, studies, and analysis with ongoing review, coaching, and interaction with project team management
- Prepare and generate plans, specifications, and engineer's estimates (PS&E), reports and correspondence
- Review field reports prepared by staff specialists; provide guidance to office and field personnel
- Manage project budgets
- Organize field work and assign tasks to staff specialists; assemble, review, and evaluate complex data; integrate data evaluations prepared by staff specialists into projects
- Contact vendors; research literature and regulatory requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications
- B.S. Civil Engineering 10-15 years of experience, or M.S. Civil Engineering with 9-14 years of experience
- Nevada Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Civil engineering and project management experience on complex projects involving multiple teaming partners and skill sets
- Experience with marketing, proposal writing, and job development
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Fifteen (15) years professional consulting experience
- Experience with local and regional public works agencies
- Northern Nevada experience in utility design, particularly in sanitary sewer collection, lift stations, rehabilitation and master plans
