Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wastewater Engineer to join our team. The primary focus of this position will be to design, implement and manage traditional and advanced wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and oversee the construction and operation of traditional and advanced wastewater treatment systems, including but not limited to, activated sludge processes, membrane bioreactors, anaerobic digestion, and chemical precipitation.

- Conduct laboratory and field experiments to evaluate wastewater treatment performance and optimize treatment processes.

- Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering designs for wastewater treatment facilities.

- Manage and coordinate construction activities, including reviewing and approving plans, specifications, and contract documents.

- Provide technical assistance and support to clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors on wastewater treatment issues.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and treatment methods to improve wastewater treatment efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and standards.

- Collaborate with other engineers, scientists, and technicians on wastewater treatment projects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or related field.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment engineering, with a focus on traditional and advanced treatment methods.

- Knowledge of wastewater treatment regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
