03 Jan 2014
BHP Billiton’s Australian iron-ore mines have resumed full operations following a cyclone that severely damaged major shipping terminals and coastal regions this week.

BHP’s Port Hedland terminal is used to export nearly 200 million tonnes of iron annually and is the world’s biggest iron ore terminal.

Port Hedland only sustained minor damage during the cyclone and reopened on Tuesday.
