Construction employment rises in the U.S.

06 Jun 2016
Construction employment in the U.S. between April 2015 and April 2016 increased in two thirds of metropolitan areas in the U.S., according to a recent report.

California leads in construction jobs, where 14,900 were added, followed closely by Orlando, New York City and Arizona.

"Construction growth remains widely distributed by location and project type," said Ken Simonson, chief economist for the Associated General Contractors of America.
