Duke Energy Renewables to develop 200MW wind project in Oklahoma

Duke Energy Renewables will build the 200MW Frontier Windpower project in Oklahoma, US, with operations planned to begin in 2016.

To be developed in Kay County to the east of Blackwell, the wind farm will have the capacity to meet the power requirements of around 60,000 US households.

Wanzek Construction will be responsible for setting up the project for which Amshore US Wind will offer development support.

Construction works for the development are expected to speed up in the first quarter of 2016 in order to keep up with its scheduled commissioning date.
