Dyson has announced it is growing its electric vehicle programme and will be increasing its automotive workforce by 300 people. The company is looking to ramp up its research and development before its first EV car hits the market in 2019.
Dyson, a leader in vacuum cleaners and hand dryers, plans to offer two mass-produced EV models.
So far, Dyson’s first car is being funded by a £2 billion investment from Dyson and has received additional support from the British Government.
