The Italian company, Enel Green Power has announced its entry into the Peru market with the promise of delivering 3 renewable energy projects. The projects will utilise 3 different types of energy generating technologies including solar, wind and hydroelectric.
Collectively, the development costs for all of these projects is expected to total around $400 million.
“With 326 MW awarded in the tender, EGP will become by 2018 the main renewable player in Peru and the only company operating plants of 3 different renewable technologies in the country,” said a spokesperson for EGP.
