EON UK Unveils New Plan - Free Energy

11 Oct 2011

E.ON has introduced Energy Fit Plan, a two-year program that gives consumers two months’ worth of energy for free, along with a free energy monitor and online energy efficiency advice.  Customers can also earn Tesco Clubcard points for money spent on their energy bills. The plan, which was developed in response to consumer feedback, will cost on average £1,150 a year and is designed to give customers a clear two-year payment plan.

Jeremy Davies, E.ON’s Marketing Director, explains, “As we look to provide cleaner and better energy for our customers, it’s vital that we listen to what they’re telling us they want and need. Through our customer panel, they’ve told us that they’d like to see products with a free energy element. Our Energy Fit Plan not only gives people a month’s worth of free energy each year, but also the tools and support they need to help them control their bills and save money throughout their energy fit journey. People who sign up now will get their payment in time for next Christmas, and because our Energy Fit Plan allows people to earn Tesco Clubcard points on their energy bills too, they’ll have the additional peace of mind of knowing that there’s even more that they can save.”

The plan is available to dual fuel customers and those without a gas supply who pay by fixed monthly Direct Debit and manage their accounts online. There is no exit fee.

E.ON is one of the UK’s leading power and gas companies generating electricity and retailing power and gas. The utility supplies power and gas to over five million domestic, small and medium-sized enterprise and industrial customers across the country. E.ON is part of the E.ON group, one of the world’s largest investor-owned power and gas companies.
