Dassault Aviation and the Indian Reliance Group have formed a joint venture to offer India with its own aerospace manufacturing capabilities. The partnership will take place over 20 years, where India will develop its own “Made In India” fifth generation fighter jets.
Dassault Reliance also plans to purchase 250 aircrafts made in India over the next two decades, which will cost the company approximately €180 billion.
Last week the Indian Air Force announced its plans to buy 36 Rafale fighters, for a deal worth over €7.8 billion.
