Goldman Sachs to invest $150bn in clean energy

04 Nov 2015

Goldman Sachs has announced it will expand its target for clean energy to $150 billion in financing and investments by 2025.

The banking giant also plans to invest an additional $2 billion in green operational investments, source 100% of its global electricity from renewables, and divert 100 percent of its waste from landfills.

The new Environmental Policy Framework provides for new clean energy projects and technology like solar and wind farms, energy efficiency upgrades for buildings, and power grid infrastructure.
