HUBCO to construct 330MW coal plant in Thar

Hub Power Company (Hubco) has announced that it will set up a 330-megawatt coal-based power plant in Thar for a total cost of $500 million.


The project will be in partnership with other investors and still subject to approval of the Private Power and Infrastructure Board.

The CEO of Hubco has also revealed that the two 660 coal based plants will be constructed in the third quarter of his year. These two projects are expected to be worth $1.8 billion.
