Hurricane Energy to commence oil drilling after securing £52m funding

Hurricane Energy is expected to drill two wells in the West of Shetland oil basin in the North Sea this summer and plans to fund the £52 million project through a share issuance.


The oil field is one of the biggest left to develop in the North Sea basin and Hurricane Energy plans to take advantage of this financial opportunity.

A £44 million cash injection was received from oil and has investment fund, Kerogen Capital.
