Iberdrola to build combined cycle plant in Mexico

Iberdrola plans to build a 887MW Noroeste combined cycle power plant in Sinaloa state, Mexico for a total cost of $400 million.


The company will be responsible for the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the power plant, and will become the owner of the facility.


Equipped with M501J model gas turbines from Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and will generate enough power for more than 3 million homes.
