India partners with US to boost maritime sector

The Governments of India and the US have agreed to improve their relations across the maritime industry, announcing plans to implement 150 new projects under the collaboration. 

The projects are expected to attract an estimated $50-60 billion in infrastructure investment and will aim to reduce logistics cost for EXIM and domestic trade. 

From this partnership. India and U.S. hope to create four million new direct jobs and another six million indirect jobs.
