Utility provider, Korea Electric Power Corporation, has announced it will invest $50 million in a power plant project in Malaysia.
The company has partnered with Tadmax Resources, to build a 1,300-megawatt combined-cycle gas-fired power plant that will be located in Pulau Indah, southwest of Kuala Lumpur.
The project is still subject for final approval from the Malaysian government in the third quarter of 2018. Once approved, the two companies will start construction in the end of 2019 to complete it by 2023, according to officials.
