Laing O’Rourke secures £700m Manchester Airport project

Laing O’Rourke has been selected as preferred bidder for the expansion and construction of Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 building.

The firm beat out Chinese rivals Beijing Construction and Engineering Group, John Sisk & Son and Willmott Dixon.

According to officials, Manchester Airport plans to spend £1 billion over the next 10 years modernising the airport.
