Malaysian Oil & Gas company launches $190m storage vessel

M3nergy Berhad, the Malaysia-based oil and gas company has launched its most recent floating production, storage and offloading vessel at Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard, worth a reported $190 million.

The vessel will be anchored at the Petronas-operated Bukit Tua oil and gas field in Indonesia on a five-year contract, with an option to extend its services for another two years.

The vessel has a processing capacity of 25,000 barrels of oil per day, and 77 million cubic feet of gas per day. Storage capacity for the vessel sits at 630,000 barrels of processed oil.
