JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Platinum-group metals producer Sylvania Platinum has appointed outgoing Aquarius Platinum chairperson and CEO Stuart Murray
as its chairperson.
Murray, who resigned from Aquarius in October and who would complete his term at the end of March, would replace Richard Rossiter from April 1.
Current nonexecutive director Roger Williams would step in as interim chairperson.
Sylvania deputy CEO Nigel Trevarthen was appointed MD of subsidiary Sylvania South Africa. Further, Lewanne Carminati has been appointed as Sylvania South Africa’s FD.
Former FD Louis Carroll, who was not re-elected to the board at the company’s December annual general meeting, was appointed company secretary.
