New details of a proposal to build a natural gas power plant in the US were released this week. Archbald, Pennsylvania is the proposed location of the plant that is expected to generate 450 megawatts of electricity. DCO Energy and Emberclear are the confirmed partners responsible its potential implementation and could invest over $500 million.
Once approved, the facility will lead to the creation of 300 jobs during the construction phase and will need a total of 30 personnel to operate the plant. Depending on the date of its approval, the project could take 4 years to complete.
The creation of new jobs is heavily supported by the local community and presents more opportunities for those candidates looking for power plant work within the US.
