20 Oct 2011

Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has selected the Energy Alternatives Division of Cupertino Electric to design and build the utility's 20MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in the US state of California.

In Huron, the 20MW project is being engineered and constructed by Cupertino Electric, under a five-year PG&E clean energy initiative, which includes up to 250MW of utility-owned solar generation.

PG&E expects to complete the entire 20MW project and grid inter-connection by mid-2012.

US-based Cupertino Electric is a provider of engineering and construction services.
