£27m Dudley rail centre to create hundreds of jobs

A £27.8 million rail complex in Dudley, UK which will create hundreds of jobs and apprenticeships, has received the green light from the local council.  

The innovation centre will be used for the design and construction of lightweight rail vehicles, with research and development laboratories, including general manufacturing, conferences, teaching and training. 

Council chefs have promised the project will create 225 jobs, 331 apprenticeships and 33 new business by 2021.
