Hess Corporation, the American integrated oil company, has awarded Proserv a US$20 million contract for the provision of 12-well subsea control system, as well as a topside and subsea interface equipment for the deepwater Stampede development in the Gulf of Mexico.
The project will be managed across Proserv’s global network of service centres and technology hubs. Design and manufacturing of the subsea electronics modules and subsea control modules will be carried out by Proserv’s team in Great Yarmouth, UK, and technical support will be provided by the organisation’s Norwegian division.
Final test, servicing, and integration of equipment will take place in Proserv’s newly dedicated control facility in Houston, Texas.
The system is set to be delivered in phases throughout 2015 and 2016.
