Saudi Arabia prepared to invest $21.5 billion in energy deals with Egypt

Saudi Arabia is expected to sign a $20 billion deal to finance Egypt’s petroleum requirements for the next 5 years.


The country will also sign a deal worth $1.5 billion to develop the Sinai region, according to Egyptian government sources.


The agreements will be signed on Thursday during a visit to Cairo by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman.
